What we look at on a dozer
- Undercarriage. The biggest value driver. Photos of tracks, rollers, idlers and sprockets, and the percentage remaining if you know it.
- Blade. Six-way (PAT), straight or semi-U, and the condition of the cutting edges.
- Rear. Ripper, winch or drawbar.
- Configuration. XL or LGP tracks, enclosed cab, and grade control (GPS) if installed.
- Hours and year, with photos of the hour meter and serial plate.
Our offers are based on recent auction comps for similar dozers, adjusted for the undercarriage, hours and options.
12 years old and newer, running or not
We buy dozers that are 12 years old and newer. Within that range, running or not, we'll make an offer. Final drive leaks, a hydrostatic drive fault, worn undercarriage, a cracked blade or a machine that's been sitting are all things we can price in.
